The ridiculous letter you received from Rick/CyberNagus (the obvious Nazi)
shames me not as a white person but as a human being. I am mainly of European
descent with a little NA and have dated "outside my race" without a second
thought. As far as I'm concerned, we're all just some shade of brown. After
reading Nazi-boy's letter I was reminded of the joke among mongrel/mutt owners
about people who are snobby about their purebred dogs: that purebred often means
inbred. Many of Nazi-boy's citations of people with "glorious bloodlines" (kings
and queens) have historically included inbreeding in an effort to keep
themselves "pure." What a price to pay for snobbery.

The thing with the census, it never occured to me that even after the "Check all
that apply" instructions (which I have been waiting for on a form for a long
time) that they would go ahead and pick one for me anyway. However, after
thinking about it, I realized that counting every box a person checked might
present a problem in getting the count right. I'm sure this would be a simple
problem to fix, but nothing is ever simple for the government, it seems. What is
there excuse for picking one category for all the multiracial people, anyway?

I salute your efforts. Keep up the good work.
