Olio

I’ve recently received a few emails from Dehaven, one half of Olio, a group that bills themselves as “too funk for rock too rock for funk.” Further they believe in abolition of racial categorization and address that issue in the song “Hey Champ” on their new release Colour of Music. Ya’ll already know my take on the scourge of racial categorization.

  1. When I first heard Olio’s Symptoms of You on the radio, I was floored. What talent! They are completely different from any other artists you’ve ever heard. The way they combine rock, pop and funk is fantastic. Kickin’ It rocks with the awesome beat and lyrics – enjoy life! Once you start listening, you can’t stop – you want more and more!
Colour of Music definitely needs to be in your collection!!!!
