America has already 'fessed up to it's wrongdoings through emancipation, desegregation, affirmative action, HUD, and other programs.

Equality won't come with the cashing of a check.

Equality will only come when African Americans realize that this is their country too, and start acting like it.

Then, they will see that Slavery reparations would be like taking money from one of their hands, laying it in the other, and saying "Don't spend it all in one place."
