An Astonishing Story

I read both articles on the website about Linda Allen Bryant's family history and her family's relationship to George Washington. I saw the author on MSNBC several years ago, and I must admit her family's claim to the first president has intriqued me ever since. WE all know that miscengenation was commonplace in the Old South. But to find out that George Washington fathered a mulatto son and no one ever knew about it until now is mind boggling. Kudos to the author for telling her story and bringing to light a missing piece of American history. I have already purchased the book.
