Hello James. 
Thank you so much for showing us that wonderful essay by Charles Ash, "Viva the Bruin Ou'. I encourage everyone to read it. I loved it. 
 
I'd never heard the term Bruin Ou, which translates as "Brown Man". 
Wow, what a fascinating essay. 
 
Charles Ash said; "Some people would be glad with the notion that "coloureds" are "black" and that's that. Not I ...". 
 
I hope this entices you all to visit the link that I just did, because it was great reading. (smile) I can hardly wait to visit the Bruin Ou website.
