Former California Democratic State Senator Diane Watson told the Los Angeles Times with regards to Ward Connerly, "Connerly wants to be white. He doesn't like being black. That's why he married a white woman." This outburst clearly shows her anti-miscegenation views. She used disagreement with Connerly over affirmative action as a tool to bash interracial marriage.
For Watson to resort to such tactics was cowardly, disgusting and inexcusable. Senator Watson served in the California State Senate from 1978 to 1998 and was also the Ambassador to Micronesia. With racist, anti-miscegenation views, she clearly has no business legislating or representing the United States. Even though she is clearly bigoted, Ambassador Watson was elected to the House of Representatives in June 2001 to fill the seat of the late Julian Dixon. TMA recommends throwing this venom spewing bigot back on the streets next election. When Is A Bigot Not A Bigot? by James Landrith
