Mississippi Republican Senator Trent Lott was disgraced in front of the world when the Washington Post exposed his long history of affiliation with a racist organization known as the Council of Conservative Citizens. The Council, among other things, wants interracial marriages illegalized. Senator Lott, after getting caught, downplayed his involvement and refused to rebuke the organization publicly. Rather than being a man and admitting the truth, he instead lied to the world about his involvement with this anti-miscegenationist organization. It's time to send this liar back to Mississippi.
