Mingled Queen

November 1999

She were a curious sight.
Skin both brown and light.
Hair too curly to be just of white.
Eyes from blue to hazel bright.
Dare she choose what she might?

To what oddity is she seen?
Looks so queer, exotic, and keen.
Proud of all, such curious Queen?
Must we wonder where you lean.

Question you? We do not dare.
Yet we seem to often stare.
With hardened hearts we often glare.
Unable to squash your pride, your care.
