We are currently producing a primetime special, Next: Life in the 21st Century, to air on ABC this year. NEXT examines topics that will impact our lives as we move into the coming century, issues such as the future of genetics, war, race, and entertainment. Our “Future of Childhood” segment explores a range of ideas, focusing on how today’s kids are the pioneers who will lead us into the future. They will certainly face a world that is more advanced technologically, in which their life spans may be wildly greater than ours. They are the first generation born into the Information Age, and will have to confront the staggering choices offered by that.
As a side-bar to this segment we would like to do a short, beautiful video montage showing “the faces of America’s future.” We are looking for teens and children (12-17 yrs old) who consider themselves inter-racial or bi-racial. (Chinese-European, Afro-Vietnamese, Hispanic-Hawaiian, etc.) Unfortunately, there is no money involved. However, it is a chance for them to have an afternoon of fun and possibly appear on a prime-time television special.
Thank you for your time and I look forward to hearing from you!
