Kennedy: We’re one big human family

We’re all kin, Brent Kennedy says. “Not just figuratively, but literally.” We come from the same source if we go back far enough in time, says the renowned Melungeon researcher. And that’s the real lesson, Kennedy said during the recent Fifth Union Melungeon Gathering. “(We) should be teaching our children to accept and respect others because there really, truly, are no major differences.”
I’ll take Kennedy’s view of the totality of human existence over Sailer’s view that emphasizes minute and arbitrarily selected “differences” in subpopulations as proof of biologically separate “races.”
