June Bunker Klemmer Ellison was born in her grandfather’s home in the mountains of western North Carolina, but she spent most of her growing-up years in Panama.
She returned to the United States for occasional visits, so she got to know her extended family.
Family history, though, proved to be another matter.
She was 19 before she learned her great-grandfather – and great-great-uncle – were the famous Siamese twins, Eng and Chang Bunker.
