Free Workshop about the Mixed Race Experience!
MAVIN Foundation has partnered with the City of Seattle to make our city a national leader in meeting the needs of mixed race youth and families. The Community MAP (Mixed race Action Plan) Project, is a comprehensive project to help local families, schools, and social service agencies serve multiracial youth and families with compassion and competence. 1 in 6 babies born in Seattle is multiracial! If you are interested in learning more about the experiences of multiracial and transracially adopted Americans, please come participate in the first of four free discussions. This is a great opportunity to learn about important information and resources! (Refreshments provided. Wheelchair accessible. Please let us know if you need special accommodations.)
