The Quebec border –
speaking English,
reading French –
subject of suspicion
a gorgeous officer
surrounded by French-Canadian
cowhands facing The Chief Exec,
now I'm turned away—<\/p>\n

Returned a few days later-
made it 'cross the border
w\/only $9 in American;
"oblivious" security trashed my ID
as I kissed a betraying America
"au revoir".<\/em>
 
entering Montreal-
what 2 expect?:
la pointe d'entree
la piece de resistance
[Quebec is a place
of hidden anonymity].
 
re-learned The Alphabet
dans l'ordre supreme –
Bare Psychoes-
clean yet demented.
