Looking for Multiracial study volunteers!<\/p>\n

If you are over the age of 18, self-identify as multiracial, reside in the United States, and are interested in participating in a multiracial study, please see the information below.<\/p>\n

My name is April Hortman and I am a doctoral student in Human Development at Marywood University, Scranton PA. I am currently completing my doctoral work on multiracial experiences.<\/p>\n

Purpose of the study: The purpose of this cross sectional study is to examine the effects of multiracial classification choices on self-identified multiracial individuals, paying particular attention to the complexities these choices have on internal feelings of self and perceptions of social environments. The multiracial population has a significant and critical place in research on this population as it examines how multiracial category choices restrict individuals\u2019 concept of self identity.<\/p>\n

If you fit the below criteria, your answers to my survey<\/span> will help to better understand the experiences of being multiracial.<\/p>\n

Eligibility Requirements:<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Self-identify as multiracial<\/p>\n

\u00b7 18 years or older<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Reside in the United States<\/p>\n

All responses will remain anonymous. Information extracted from SurveyMonkey website for data analysis will be stored in password-protected files. Upon completion of this study, data stored on SurveyMonkey will be destroyed. Computer IP addresses will not be recorded.<\/p>\n
