Powell<br>Subject: \u201cThe Nation\u201d makes a \u201chero\u201d of \u201cHuey Freeman\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The January 28 edition of the liberal weekly magazine, \u201cThe Nation\u201d has a front page story declaring \u201cHuey Freeman,\u201d the bigoted one-drop fanatic from Aaron McGruder\u2019s cartoon \u201cThe Boondocks,\u201d to be an \u201cAmerican Hero.\u201d It seems that McGruder\u2019s devotion to forced racial classification, hypodescent, \u201cwhite\u201d racial purity and opposition to \u201cinterracial\u201d marriage (while openly lusting after the female offspring of those marriages) can be excused by the left as long as their favored \u201cblack\u201d criticizes capitalism and the Bush administration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.thenation.com\/doc.mhtml?i=20020128&amp;amp;s=nichols\">http:\/\/www.thenation.com\/doc.mhtml?i=20020128&amp;s=nichols<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Date: Thu, 24 Jan 2002 08:38:25 -0800 (PST)From: A.D.
