Born in Michigan. My grandmother was more than half indian (full blooded father from a local tribe) and her mother was half french trapper (father) and Canadian indian (mother)\u2026 so she was 3\/4 \u201cmixed\u201d tribe indian of two nations and 1\/4 french.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The great grandfather (her indian father) was from a small stature tribe (5\u20196\u2033) with small black eyes\u2026.. grandmother was 4\u201910\u201d with the same small dark eyes\u2026.. I\u2019m 5\u20198\u2033 \u2026.does this tell you anything about the tribe? Some said Ottawa\u2026 some said no\u2026\u2026 not sure. Birth records in Lansing don\u2019t tell me much.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If my grandmother was 3\/4 indian\u2026 what does that make me\u2026.?
