I am a thirty-eight year old black male who was adopted by a white family. People think that it is so strange that I could have been adopted by a white family! They think that people did not mix races back then! Why do people think that this is so strange when you have people who are celeberties who are products of one white parent and one black parent? Jayson Williams, the center for the Nets, is half and half. Halle Berry is half and half. Shemar Moore is half and half. Jason Kidd is half and half. Derek Jeter is half and half… Just why do people always overlook the people who are half and half of my generation and older and focus on the fact that there is no way that a white family would have wanted all those many years ago? Does someone have an answer?
