The Color of Water and Passing

From: Dora Fisher

This is my first time visiting the website, and I like it very much. It is very clearly done and expresses intelligent opinions about important issues.

I am writing a paper for my African American Literature class on biracialism (I go to Sarah Lawrence college in NY). I read The Color Of Water by James McBride, and Passing by Nella Larsen. If at all possible could you send me a link to some criticism of these two that I could cite in my paper? I would especially appreciate the Color Of Water request– I had strong negative feelings about it and I really would like to read what other people felt. Thank you so much!

Once again, thank you for having such a well made, informative, and passionate website.
