Kathleen Burge of The Boston Globe on Jurors must reveal race, ethnicity, SJC rules:
The decision came in the case of two Hispanic men convicted in a 1992 gang-related murder in Springfield. Hector Arriaga, convicted of first-degree murder, and Alex Delgado, convicted of being an accessory before the fact, argued that their convictions should be overturned because Hispanics were unconstitutionally under-represented in the jury pool.
Mayhaps we need to take the Racial Privacy Initiative to Massachusetts next.
