Hi. I’m an Atlanta student who would like your opinions. After reading some published articles about multiracial identities, my sociology class on race and ethnic relations is gathering comments for our class discussions. For someone who identifies herself or himself as mixed-race, what are the primary ways in which this identity affects or influences your life? In your opinion, how does this differ from identifying as being of one race?
What would you like my class -“ a very mixed group in age, race and backgrounds – to hear or know or discuss? Any other comments would be welcome. Thanks very much.
